If you care about ride quality buy monroe.
I’ve rocked Monroe’s before and never had an issue.
Get some Monroe Reflex shocks . Not as good as Bilstiens but very good shocks and a good price also
I did it on my 2009 Corolla standing at 130k km. The chap who installed it said that I’d need to replace those within a year. It has been four now and it is still working as it should.
Monroe’s tend to be very good OE equivalents. Just put a set on a p2 Volvo v70r and they ride pretty damn good in my opinion.
Better than my trash rough country ones
Rock Auto had Monroe shocks & struts for $12 & $8/ea for it, so I bought new. Turns out that's what came out of the car and his weren't too bad but let's face it, they're garbage.
Been avoiding Monroe at the shop, they come back leaking too often.
15K later and all my RC shocks really do is keep my springs from falling out when flexing. Otherwise, they do nothing.
N3s are garbage, they rode so bad I thought I was going to wreck the truck, made the truck walk all over the road at any little bump. I ended up buying a set of bilstein 5100s and the truck rides great now. 2016 4x4 crew short
