Put RC m1s in the front (a tier below yours) and it rides like any other 20 year old truck (fine in my opinion). I have no problem off roading either. Have kept up or surpassed many more expensive builds on trails.

Dude I replaced my upper control arms, front preloads, and rear struts with rough country n3.
The front had blown out Monroe’s and rear blown out bilstein heavy duty. These are now the 3rd set of struts and preloads for the truck. (Now at 216k) They sucked. Like they really sucked. These n3 rough country ride soooo much better.
I'm not going to lie. Going from Monroe/stock height to a 3in lift with rough country shocks rides great on the street.
I just installed the N3 loaded struts from Rough Country yesterday. Went out for a test drive afterwards and drove the truck to and from work today. Truck handles so much better than OEM shocks/struts. They are much softer and feel more “planted.” BUT, my OEM shocks were pretty bad. I’m sure a suspension setup north of $1k would ride better than this setup. But for $330, this setup is well worth it and is a night and day difference.
I have them on my f150 and they right a lot better than my factory worn out struts. the only thing I didn’t like is that they advertise a 2” lift and my truck only went up 1”.
I did the Rough Country set up. 2 inch leveling, new struts in front, shocks and spacers in back. It wasn't too difficult to do. I haven't noticed a rough ride as others have stated.
I had the shocks on my old cherokee. They were definitely better than what I had on it before, but they replaced 30 year old 200k shocks.
I have rough country shocks and I will tell you, it is a bumpy ride
I had those on my truck and then bought the fox one on a deal the pucks ride better than the rough country but go for the fox
Yeah I’ve had Rough Country on my trucks before. It gets the leveled look, but that’s about it. Much rougher ride and not confidence inspiring at all.
