probably a matched set of springs and dampers like bilstein b12 pro kit are best for a daily. i love mine
I went the 5160/6112 route and love them. Coming from stock suspension for the first 50k it was amazing offroad but really helped with the on-road nosedive and with upgrade springs in the rear helped tremendously with the sag from my rtt trailer.
I’ll at least give them points for wanting to use top quality components. Bilstein are nothing short of the best when it comes to shock absorbers.
H&R sport springs 40mm, Bilstein B8s.
I run 33s with a 3 in lift. Biltein shocks.
I run 285’s with my 5100’s. No rub, just have your alignment tech do their thing.
Those appear to be Bilstein B6 or B8 shocks. They're Bilstein's sportier upgrade over the OEM replacement B4 shocks. The difference between the B6 and the B8 is that one of them is made for lowering springs and the other is designed for stock height. Because these are just struts and not coilovers, the ride height is not adjustable.
The shocks on mine went bad and these were the only choice from fcp at the time. They are good shocks, and should last much longer than oem. They shouldn’t mess with the factory dynamics of the car, if that is what you are worried about
Bilsteins obviously are great. My friend put Bilsteins on his and it's a bit stiff for a daily driver without a lift, imo, but you might not have the same problem or might not care as much lol
I’m running Bilstein 5100 + ‘99 tall springs and the ride is a little too rough for my liking.
