Shock absorbers Bilstein or GABRIEL

My dad and I put 5100s on out fj and love them. Actually rides significantly better than stock.

I personally have been a Bilstien H&R fan since my first mk4 Frankingolf where I tore down and rebuilt a 4 door golf into a 4 door gti. Have stuck with that combo ever since and that is the ONLY thing that has always worked according to plan.

Bilstein are awesome- but the price is not. I put a set on a 2000 F150 4x4 that I once had and couldn’t believe how much better the truck drove.

I can still rip sweepers at 120mph like my friend with Bilstein B6's, but my car rides so much better over the small uneven bits of pavement.

Just put on a new set of Bilstein 4600's and am liking it. Feels stock and back to new again. Not too stiff, but certainly not squishy like the old worn ones.

I just did Bilsteins on my 2500 burb. They work great.

Yes B4's should help.

Drader has swapped for B6s in the rear of his Alltrack so has 1st hand experience with it's effects.

I've had the chance to daily Billstein shocks w/Eibach springs...with stock shocks w/HR drop springs...The Bill and KW setups had/have Meyle HD front bushings and R32 control arm bushings.

I have had Bilstein HDs on my GLS for a couple years now and I also think they are too soft. Still too much body sway and roll, especially loaded for a trip, in my opinion.
