VALVOLINE Engine oil

Valvoline VR1 for the track car. Valvoline VR-1 is a very highly reviewed oil with a high zinc content to keep race engines running with very minimal wear.

Pros: minimal wear, high zinc

I've used Rotella T6 in literally all of my bikes since 2017 because it is cheap and has JASO MA2, it is deisel oil.

VALVOLINE Engine oil

For this reason I run Valvoline 20W-50 VR1 which has high zinc and phosphorus to deal with the extra loads the flat-tappets put on the camshaft vs roller tappets.

Pros: high zinc and phosphorus
Vehicle: BMW
