Engine oil Shell or PENNZOIL

I’ve been using t6 with pretty good lab analysis but I’ve been considering switching over to amsoil.

I’m using penz plat though I’ve only had my oil changed once (3500 on my OD) but so far so good. My oil temp stays around the 200 mark once fully warmed up and has been running very smoothly.

Since getting my tune I run Rotella T6 5w-40

The data I've seen round the web, including BITOG forums says that Pennzoil Platinum and Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W-30 is as good or better than the waaay overpriced Motul stuff.

Motul xclean, amsoil signature series, valvoline max life, and penzoil ultra platinum are the favorites.

Ive only bought at walmart. $21.97. My turbo calls for an ingredient thats in the pennz synthetic

I also found out the filter (Mobil 1 extended performance) was about $6 cheaper there too

Walmart. Shell Rotella 5qt for $20. Or Mobil1 for less than $25 if they're out of the Shell and K&N filters always in stock.

Motul or Penzoil.

My car only gets Pennzoil Ultra Platinum. Seems like a good quality oil!

Anything is better than nothing. I've tried most big oil brands but overall I like the Shell Rotella stuff most.
