So far itong si Shell yung may pinaka smooth na oil sakin.
It completely transforms the bike , it resists heating like it almost non existent even after a hard session of riding, performance is consistent in warm up, cold start or all kinds of situation ,fuel efficiency definitely increased, and the acceleration is also noticable better and power is also good compared to when I used to run on liquid gun and on highways the bike totally becomes a beast . I highly recommend shell to my fellow riders, it's the one that completely suits RE engines
I switched to 5w30 shell from 10w30 havoline.
No problems. The engine is a little bit cleaner.
I am using Shell Helix Ultra 5w40, fully synthetic for my Lancer (2006), change it at around 7000 KMs. No complaints, my travel includes short & long distance, very happy & satisfied.
Why spend more when you can buy Shell Helix Ultra FS 5w40 from Lotus's, Giant or Aeon Big for half the price or less compared bought in petrol stations.
But then we replaced it with a SkyActiv Mazda3 that used 0w20 and proceeded to have a good long history with that motor that had 0 oil consumption in 125K miles; I did all of the oil changes myself and it was always 4.5qts in/4.5qts out every 5k miles.
I run mobil1 but my local small engine place that installs and services Generac, Kohler and Briggs swears by Rotella straight 30 weight.
I have a baleno woth 130k mileage and I have been using shell 10w 40 and the performance and fuel avg is great
I run Shell Rotella T6 5/40 I live in Florida. Slightly high copper on the STI. The Tribeca is fine and purrs like a kitten.
I switched to Rotella T6 (5w-40 Full Synth) after running Penzoil, Chevron, Castrol, Mobil, regular non-high mileage 10w-30 dinos in that order over 4000 miles. Worst of this bunch was Mobil and Chevron, the HLA tick was unbearable, even right after the oil change.
