Engine oil PENNZOIL or OEM Volkswagen

Original owner ran Pennzoil ultra platinum and that I got 289,000 miles on that engine and turbo before I had a shop rebuilt it.

Been running PU since with no problems.

Since I'm replying -- have noticed 0 oil consumption on my Mk8 in the last two years.

Penzoil the best!

I use Pennzoil platinum euro because its dirt cheap from walmart and meets all specs. 135,xxx kms so far on the same oil.

Best bang for your buck is the ultra premium penzoil 0w 20. Meets the api certification and in terms of performance it essentially provides the same level of performance as the amsoil.

I run Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-30. My FK8 is making over 500hp no issues

For the money, Pennzoil can't be beat, and I say that considering you can usually get it from Napa or Amazon around $7/qt. Idemitsu is also great, but hovers around $8 or $9/qt on Amazon or Napa.

My 2024 Toyota Rav4 Prime XSE has had 2 used oil analysis tests done at 4k and 8k miles on Pennzoil Platinum 0w-16 and Eneos 0w-16. Both results showed both oils shearing lower and out of grade to a 0w-8 viscosity at 100C in 4k miles.

Using the incorrect oil can cause damage and will definately void your warranty. Call the closest dealership and buy the oil for this oil change.
