i'm running the 0w-30 and it seems to have appeased my miata's normally (for all of them) ticky lifters. it starts better cold too.

Pros: starts better cold
Cons: ticky lifters

I noticed M1 burns less then castrol, i might try redline and see. i am pretty happy with m1 compared to castrol thats for sure.

Pros: happy with M1
Cons: castrol burns more

AMSOIL Engine oil

i have used Amsoil for going on 10 years with great success. I have never had a problem or failure with anything i have used it in.

Mobil Engine oil

for the last year ive ran the pure one \"micron\" and a a soup of mobil one 5w30 with the lucas fully syn additive. nothing but happy driving. the tick has gone away with the mix, or so i think.

AMSOIL Engine oil

I used to use mobile 1 fully synthetic 5w 30 with a quart of lucas synthetic oil treatment and it work pretty good and i could get about 5k out of it. I just got hooked up with an amsoil dealer so im now using amsoil's european 5w 30 and im going on 7k and its still pretty effin clear

Pros: works pretty good

Mobil Engine oil

I'm going on 5 years 1 month using M1 0-40...I did try Castrol 5-50 once just to try it out, and the engine behaved itself...both synthetics and about $6-7/qt...
