Castrol is great option if it is not fake, also make sure to change oil every 10000km (6200 miles). Those engines are bulletproof, should cause no issues

I recently did my first track day on a day with 105 degrees temps. I went with Castrol Edge 5w-30 and the car did amazing.
I use Castrol for my 05 320 cdi. It meets the extended service oil spec, but I run it as "regular" oil.

I run Castrol GTX conventional oil in my 1972 Chevy C10 (350). I also ran that in a 1976 BMW 2002 I had in the 80s.
I use the Castrol 10w50 that the dealer gives me for my 18 RS. I have clutch slip issues and it seems to keep it mostly under control vs Motul 7100 or 300V
