Engine oil Castrol or VALVOLINE
I personally prefer Valvoline, they seem to know what they're doing and have their own engine lab to test and experiment with oils, and that oil they made specifically for hi-milage engines work bloody good at rejuvenating a smoky old engine.
I have to use high zinc oil, Valvoline VR1 is the only oil I can buy that has enough zinc.
I switched to Valvoline last oil changed and really like it. Feels more lively than when I changed it in the past (typically use dealer recommended Castro).
I'm a Castrol syntec guy and I like Kirkland oil. So that's what my cars get.
I'm personally running Castrol in the BMW bottle.
Got some numbers for the oil pressure Water temp around 90-95C/194F. Ambient temp 28C/82F Oil 5W30 Castrol Edge LL Hot idle 20 PSI 2000RPM 60 PSI 3-5000RPM 70 PSI Looks okay?
I use valvoline extended protection
My co workers wife had a high mileage Sienna 3.0. Oil leaking from every seal. We started using Castrol high mileage, it stopped leaving spots in his driveway and quit loosing 1.5 qrts between oil changes.
I have stuck with manufacturers till manufacturers recommendation is causing issue, like my gixxer leaked entire oil from companies estar engine oil, switched to castrol power 1, no leak, headache gone and happy riding on it for about a decade now.
I use Castrol EDGE Fully synthetic oil in my 2013 Mazda 3 skyactiv. It does burn a little but I did not have any issues.
