Engine oil Castrol or FUCHS

Castrol Engine oil

any oil that meets the LL-01 standard will do, buy whatever is on sale. Castrol Edge Euro 5w30 is fine, Mobil 1 euro synthetic, whatever.

Pros: meets LL-01 standard

Castrol Engine oil

My conclusion was to use the best Castrol in the gold bottle. Of course, YOU must use the specification of weight recommended by the owners manual for the temperature range you expect to be operating in.

Pros: best Castrol, gold bottle
Mileage: 5000 km

Been using the molygen one, noticed a small reduction of oil consumption and better idling than Castrol (VW recommended)

Castrol Engine oil

About $22 for 5 Qts. of Castrol (you can buy it on Amazon or at Walmart for a decent price). Filter is about $4.00 or more if you buy a premium filter.

Pros: decent price, easy to find
Cons: quick lube unreliable

Castrol Engine oil

Castrol Power 1 isn't a bad oil, but I'd say not the best either. I have only used LiquiMoly as an alternative, so far and I rate is better than the Castrol but it did cost almost 2x as much too.

Pros: alternative to Castrol
Cons: Castrol not the best
