Engine oil Castrol or AMSOIL

AMSOIL Engine oil

Amsoil. I run it in anything and everything they make fluids for. Even the 2 strokes. Father has been a dealer for decades and the number of stories he has backing up amsoi's marketing claims is IMPRESSIVE. I've personally seen a few success stories already and PLENTY of scientific testing

Pros: impressive claims, success stories, scientific testing

5W-30 Castrol Edge. FPRS uses it and has had very few failures on stock motor cars. I was also running it in my GR86, and Blackstone came back perfect on that car.

Pros: very few failures, Blackstone perfect
Vehicle: Toyota

AMSOIL Engine oil

I personally like Amsoil better they actually created synthetic oil but I don’t believe in 25,000 miles on it oil change if you want to run it for like 10,000 and change the filter halfway through 5000 I believe the Oil Wall hold off no problem bye just seems like a lot of miles to put on oil

Pros: created synthetic oil
Cons: long oil change interval
Mileage: 10000 km

AMSOIL ALL THE WAY!!!

Coyote tick is practically gone and I’ve tried Motorcraft, Penzoil, Mobil, Royal Purple, & Castrol. Amsoil is a little more $ but 100% worth it.

Pros: Coyote tick gone
Cons: a little more $

Castrol Engine oil

If you want to do 5k oil changes, best to switch back to Castrol GTX or any cheapo oil as you'll have no significant advantage using synthetic for short periods of time.

Pros: cheaper option
Cons: no significant advantage
Mileage: 5000 km
