Duralast stuff is fine. Their pads are fine. Their pads also have a lifetime warranty through AutoZone.
I went with Dynamic Friction instead after hearing lots of negative feedback, so far very happy 6 mo later. I drive fast and they stop very well. Does produce quite a bit of brake dust though.
I have Dynamic friction 5000 low metallic pads on my 21 3.3 G70 RWD and love them, better bite but dust a bit more than OEM but no brake judder for the 5k miles I've had them on so far.
I've been using Dynamic Friction 1000141300 track pads from Rockauto. They've seen 6 or 7 track days now and have work really well without overheating. They also do fine on the street.
I have the Dynamic Friction 5000 low metallic pads and they've been a nice improvement. Have no brake judder, better bite, and a bit more dusting from the pads (great tradeoff IMO).
Duralast gold rotors and elite brake pads. Great price and performance. If they wear out too early - free replacement. If they wear out just fine - you got your money’s worth.
I use Dynamic Friction low-metallic 5000 pads, bite better but dust more than OEM, been working well thus far.
Replaced the rears with Duralast Elites today. They are a bit louder (you can hear the pad dragging on the rotor inside the car). Maybe they will not be as loud as they break in.
I’m at around 104k in my 3, on original pads but had an issue with the rear clips causing some squeaks and need to replace those.
I just dropped $5500 fuckin dollars on my 19 X Performance for brakes and suspension at the service center. Had some ugly noises going on but I was floored when they gave me the estimate. I went 90k on my Prius before doing the brakes and that’s w waaaay less regen! So pissed. The estimate was actually $7500 w tires, stupid fuckin 22s - someone please learn from my mistake and don’t get those god awful heavy wheels!
