Duralast Gold pads are awesome at little to no brake dust

The dynamic friction geocoated rotors and pads just went onto my 07 liberty and they were easy and feel great, no noise. Hopefully they will actually prevent getting as rusty as my last ones, as I live in the PNW and rust is EVERYWHERE.

I’ve always put Duralast Gold pads and rotors on my vehicle. I’ve got no complaints and they have a lifetime warranty.

A few weeks ago I replaced the front pads and rotors on my ‘21 grand touring. I got Duralast Gold rotors and Duralast Elite brake pads from Autozone. An independent repair shop installed them. They are working fine. I decided to purchase from Autozone for the warranty, which is lifetime on the pads and 3 years on the rotors.

The other thing to consider is if you(r dad) use the default stopping mode for brakes and never press brakes normally, the moment you actually need the brakes they might not be in the best shape because there's some accumulated residua on the disk and what not.

Rear motor oil pump. Plus the famous Tesla control arms and heat pump. A brake pad also disintegrated into nothing, so that was a weird one.

Same issue here. I replaced the pads twice with the same brand (Duralast Gold), and the issue is still apparent. It appears to be an issue only with the 340mm brakes for Golf Rs and Tiguans.

2023 Taos I'm at 25k miles and rear rotors and brakes need replacement. metal on metal destroyed the rotors.
