Get Powerstop Pads and 2 piece brembo rotors. You’ll come in at less than performance kit and practically no brake dust. From my experience I got the same brake feel as oem, I wouldn’t track it with those pads though.

Pros: practically no brake dust
Cons: wouldn’t track it

When I bought my ‘18 AMG GLE43 back in July, I bought a complete set of PowerStop performance ceramic pads and drilled & slotted rotors for the front and back. Since that time, I’ve put over 4000 miles on my AMG GLE43 and the new brake setup works incredibly well. They look great, feel great

Pros: look great, feel great
Mileage: 4000 km

Took my 2019 Golf R to the track with stock pads and rotors. The brakes started smelling really bad after 20 minutes of track time, and squealing a bit. Didn’t lose braking power significantly, but this is what they look like afterwards.

Cons: smelling bad, squealing

I’ve clocked 14k, and yes, I’ve already finished off my brake pads. Truth be told, I don’t really expect them to last longer since I drive quite aggressively. Now, the OEM pads cost roughly around 6k with labor. Honestly, I don’t think they’re worthwhile, as the braking feels noisy and lacks bite.

Cons: noisy, lacks bite
Mileage: 14000 km
