I have been running Hawk HPS 5.0 front and back since my 2019 Stinger GT. Put them on my G70 within the first 500 miles to save the rotors. They do squeak a bit, but they stop without fail and after 35k on my Stinger, never once did I get any vibration on braking.

Pros: reliable stopping, no vibration
Cons: squeaking noise
Mileage: 35000 km

On mine I just swapped everything to the powerstop extreme pads. 2000 miles on the car. Absolutely silent and dust free. Definitely do the rears as well.

Pros: silent, dust free
Mileage: 2000 km

On my ‘18 Scat (Charger) with 6-piston fronts, I changed to the powerstop fronts at 16k, didn’t touch the rears. At 40k now, no regrets, no incessant squealing, no dust.

Pros: no squealing, no dust
Mileage: 40000 km

I recently did the Hawk 5.0 pads and they are lacking on initial bite. Bit disappointing. Much better for repeated breaking tho, as they warm up.

Pros: better for repeated breaking
Cons: lacking on initial bite

I'm not happy with HPS 5.0 on my M3- I'm probably going to switch back to "regular" Hawk HPS, as they have worked for me on quite a few cars.

Pros: worked on many cars
Cons: not happy with performance
Vehicle: BMW
