Brake pads OEM FORD or Hawk Performance

I use Hawk HPS 5.0 pads, happy with them so far

Hawk HP+ if you want to spend a little bit more and get an impressive bite force even when cold. Also suitable for street and light track duty.

I went with Hawk 5.0 pads and Zimmerman rotors on my 340i. Very happy with them.

I use Hawk 5.0 pads with R1 Concepts Drilled and Slotted rotors, stops on a dime and cuts alot of speed when adjusting going into corners very predictable

I run hawk 5.0 pads (i used to use ebc yellow but theres been reports of ebc pads delaminating so i stopped using ebc)

I use the centric premium coated blanks & change rotors every time I change pads.

For fluid I use ate200

I swapped out the hoses for braided ss hoses.

I currently use Hawk DTC60’s on my Scion FRS with Motul RBF600 fluid for track days. The brakes feel great to me, I like the bite, and they don’t fade even on multi day events.

I had the same problem on my 2021gt500 and the dealer put in new pads, solved the problem.

I haven’t heard of fake brake pads but be careful. The main reason I’m commenting is HP+ pads might be good for autox but if you have experience on track, I’d avoid. Granted, my experience using them was on a 2015 WRX but you can overheat the pads pretty quickly on a heavy braking circuit.

I have a 2021 BS BL with 28,000 and have no issue with the water pump. The squeaky brakes in reverse drives me nuts though!

Should’ve gone with EBC! Tried Hawk hps blues and could not go more than 500 miles before taking them off and replacing them with EBC yellows again. The noise was horrible.
