Several teslas, both S and 3, and never had to replace them. I got used to one pedal driving. My 3 has almost 60k and brakes are almost new.
2014 MS P85D 102,000 miles still on factory pads and rotors.
I have about 50k miles on my 2018 M3. Pads still seem to have plenty of life left.
I can't say much towards your brakes since I have a G30. However, I was quoted $1850 for my front M Sport brakes. I ended up doing it myself for $900 in parts only. It's not very complicated.
I got quoted well over a grand to do all 4 brake pads at the dealer. I went to a local garage and they did it for half
Just for front brakes/rotors at my dealership they wanted $1,100. I found a shop that is highly rated and they got it done, plus an oil change, for $550. So half the dealership and an oil change to boot. I\u2019ll never go to the dealership again unless it\u2019s an electronics issue.
My F82 never has engine cooling issues. The DCT needs a 1qt overfill or a better pan once you pick up pace on sticky tires. Unless you're boosting to the moon, you won't have engine cooling issues though. Brakes are the weakest bit. The stockers feel good, but you really need to cool them.
I’m at around 104k in my 3, on original pads but had an issue with the rear clips causing some squeaks and need to replace those.
Meanwhile, my basic 330i standard rear brakes were apparently almost 500 bucks to replace…holy cow I don’t think I actually make bmw money anymore hahaha
Same here. I basically drive a few times per week and clean the wheels at least twice!
