Hawk HPS - not too expensive, great pads and they last forever with minimal dust. I am a fan
I am running Hawk HPS and the intial bite is awesome(eyeballs hit the windshield) even when cold, much better then HP+ that I had before.
Hawks HPS 5.0, that's what I have on my Jetta, that's what I'll be putting on the Camaro soon.
Ecs tuning 2piece rotors and hawk hp plus pads. Minimal dust, great stopping, and no rust.
Porsche Cayenne (18Z) calipers in front w/ ML55 345mm rotors & Hawk HPS pads 034 Motorsport 300mm rotor conversion in rear w/ new calipers & Hawk HPS pads Braided stainless brake lines all around Brake fluid flushed and replaced with Motul RBF 600 ST coilovers (KW's entry-level brand)
I do really like the Hawk HPS pads. They cost a little more, but I think they are worth it.
I had the stoptech then switched over to Hawk HP Plus - best decision I've made. They're not exactly quiet but tolerable (in my opinion) - they bite awesomely though.
I would recommend Hawk HPS pads. They bite instantly, so they could be a little noisy if you don't grease the backs. They aren't great on dust, but you will always have a lot of brake dust due to the size of the brakes. The performance is probably the best available for non race applications. I have never experienced brake fade, but I do have a heavily modified brake system.
I have hawk HPS on mine. Dust wise they arent too bad. But I wouldnt mind something cleaner. They do the same thing and hang over the inner edge a bit.
I won't even use duralast brakes on my daily driver, let alone a 3400 pound 200 mph missile..
