Brake pads Ferodo or OEM FORD

OEM FORD Brake pads

Had this on our Ford Kuga £860. Did it myself although I already have all the tools for £280 all round.

Pros: saved money, did it myself
Cons: expensive at garage
Vehicle: Ford Kuga

Ferodo Brake pads

Now I have a 19 R DSG, and I've tracked it twice (Summit Point and VIR) with nothing more than new rotors, Ferodo brake pads and Motul 500 fluid. I never had any overheating issues with either the brakes or the oil, but both weekends were cooler weather.

Pros: no overheating issues

I’d recommend DS2500’s. They are a bit noisy for everyday but the performance is worth it. Nice and predictable feel

Pros: good performance, predictable feel
Cons: a bit noisy

Ferodo Brake pads

Many people don't like ferodo pads, but I use ds2500 for dual duty, but they can be hard to find. Just got to be careful getting off the highway with them when they are cold.

Pros: dual duty
Cons: hard to find, cold performance

Up for sale are new Ferodo DS2500 brake pads for an MK7 Golf R. I had bought these to replace my noisy new Hawk pads, but have decided to just stick with the noisy hawk pads.

Cons: noisy hawk pads
Part number: FCP4425H

OEM FORD Brake pads

2022 Atlas SEL is fhe Worst automobile ive ever had (as an adult). Brakes are horrendous and seems ive had more service issues than i’ve ever had to deal with owning Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota.

Cons: horrendous brakes, service issues
Vehicle: Volkswagen
