POWER STOP Brake pads

Powerstop works better than Bosch in my opinion for brakes, but I would see if you could find regular rotors instead of the drilled & slotted ones. Drilled & slotted rotors are only worth paying for if you plan on abusing your cars brakes.

Pros: Powerstop better than Bosch
Cons: drilled/slotted rotors unnecessary

QuietCast pads are a solid choice. Centric is an OEM supplier and those are a fully coated rotor, so also a solid choice. If you want to spend a little extra, I’d go for Akebono pads. I ran their pad and rotor kit on my old Mazda 3 and they worked phenomenally but, ate through the pads pretty quick under normal city driving. No issues up until I sold the car.

Pros: phenomenal performance, solid choice
Cons: pads wear quickly

After lots of research I did Powerstops about 10K miles ago and absolutely love them!! I’ve done lots of brakes jobs on multiple different Toyota/Lexus trucks/SUV’s and normally OEM perform best, and I wouldn’t normally do drilled/slotted, but on these big heavy Sequoias they really perform so great…highly recommend!

Just here to say I have them also, and they did quiet down. Remember these are a step up in the performance pad world so there are going to be trade-offs. They actually wish I had gone with a more aggressive pad but considering it's 99% street driving they are pretty great

Have you done some seriously hard braking to properly seat them? Go from like 60mph and hard brake down to 20 or a stop. Not so hard to activate the abs or lock em up, but hard hard. Do this a few times to help bed them in better. I have ebc reds and it seems like the dust does chill a little over time. They still have a heavy bite that not everyone appreciates when coming to the end of a stop. I kinda like it tho. Let’s me know they mean business. Would buy again.

I have run both 21 and 11 with an EBC bbk for mk5 Supra. The 21’s had way too much bite imo, the Mu is .65 which was the highest I had ever ran. I think they’d be great with slicks but I run street tires. ABS would trigger about 3/4 pedal travel, not fun. I switched to SR11 and was much happier. In terms of bite they felt much better on street tires. I can still get into ABS but I’d have to brake really hard which is where my muscle memory is anyways. Both pads were easier to modulate than what I came from(csg c21). I do enjoy the drastic reduction in bedding as well. I haven’t had issues with fading but I’m also running them with 15” rotors and have OEM cooling ducts so ymmv.

Pros: easy modulation, less bedding
Cons: too much bite, ABS trigger
