Brake pads EBC or OEM Subaru

OEM Subaru Brake pads

Watched some YouTube, bought OEM parks off rock auto, did it in 40 mins for $300. Those bitches survived many track days for another 30,000 miles till I sold the car.

Pros: cheap, long lasting
Mileage: 30000 km

EBC Brake pads

I daily red stuff (stopping a Stinger). They're fine. Occasionally a bit touchy, but that's more me than the pads.

Pros: fine for daily use
Cons: occasionally touchy
Vehicle: Kia

EBC Brake pads

EBC red is a great street and auto X pad. It’s not a trackpad. EBC Blue is entry-level track and well it technically can be used on the street. Its manners are pretty poor.

The Reds are designed for streets applications. They will be a much better pad on a daily driver that goes to auto cross or mountain roads.

Pros: great street pad, good for autocross
Cons: poor street manners, not for track
Vehicle: Mercedes

EBC Brake pads

EBC makes great pads and discs. Have them on my NB and they've been solid for like two or three years now after the Brembos warped themselves.

Pros: great pads and discs, solid
Cons: Brembos warped
Vehicle: Dodge

EBC Brake pads

I just had the worst experience with EBC redstuff pads. brand new pads, and the first time i put pressure on them - they fail - badly! overheating within 5 minutes of spirited driving in the mountains.

Cons: fail badly, overheat
Vehicle: Porsche 911

I used EBC green pads back in the 80's. Never again. They caused vibrations and even with new rotors, they again vibrated a few months later.

Cons: caused vibrations
