Brake pads Centric or Tesla

Centric ceramic brake pads.

I’m a big fan of Centric rotors and pads. To me they’re in the category of OEM+ and they’re still affordable.

I buy a lot of denso parts, gates or continental generally for belts and such. Centric for brakes.

IMO do not put anything OEM on the car as a replacement. Find something with a better pad/rotor combo that doesn't leave deposits Ilike Centric stuff a lot with the Ceramic pads. Good combo

I switched to Centric PosiQuiet Ceramic Pads and not only they brake better, but produces little to no dust.

I have 28k miles on my 2017 G2, the brake fluid was almost black. I flushed it all out, and I noticed some very minor air bubbles when we started initially pumping the brake fluid. I also switched over to new Centric pads and rotors. Much improved brake feel and firmness

The pads are very smooth but tend to creak at very low speed (like <2 mph) and they're very grabby when wet. 20k miles and they're maybe halfway worn down despite a lot of city driving and some very hard braking on a couple of mountain roads.

Just did the rear brakes on my wife’s subaru, the dealership was back ordered on the OEM pads and had centric ceramics.

70,000 miles on the X because the emergency brake pad fell out. They told me to redo the whole set at $2,000 since the ebrake was out and it wasn’t covered under warranty.
