I paid $25 ea. to have front rotors resurfaced at O’reilly and put brembo pads and new sensors on my wife’s 2017 Macan GTS for a grand total of $190 which included a new can of brake clean and new caliper bolts from Pelican.
Brembo HH Sintered Pads Upgrade. Worth it!
Get a set of Centric PQ (posi-quiet) pads and rotors. Way better than any of the big chain brick and mortar store offerings for less $ too
I bought that centric kit for my 18 Mazda 3 last year, no issues.
I just put Brembos on my s60 and they are great.
I have 336mm factory Brembo pads/rotors and they have no issue bringing my moose to cornering speeds on track.
The Brembo brakes are a joy in the mountains, honestly. They get up to temp fast, just a few corners, and the already-good feel they have just goes to a next level of feedback and precision.
If you're looking for a solid set at a budget price, I've always had solid results from Centric and Power Stop brands on Rockauto. They're not high end by any means but they're cheaper than going OEM and they've always lasted at least 40,000+ miles. Also, if you go to Rockauto, do not be tempted by their economy category. The offerings in that section are very inexpensive but you absolutely get what you pay for. I went that route once out curiosity and the pads and rotors from the economy section were awful. Squealed and squeaked from day one and wore down insanely fast. Tried sound dampening sprays and re greasing. Never took the noise away.
Did you upgrade to drilled and slotted rotors? I did brembo metallic pads and brembo drilled n slotted in my e46 and they felt like that from the rip. Keep in mind if you’re upgrading to something that is meant for tracking then u kind of sacrifice comfort.
Ein Problem bei den Brembo Belägen die ich hatte war aber immer dass die nach ein paar tausend km quietschen wie Sau. Ließ sich auch nicht nachhaltig beheben.
