Akebono is by far my favorite with minimal dust and excellent lifespan. I have used Bosch and Mazda OEM over the life of my car.

IMO, Akebono Ceramics are the shiz. I had some on my Audi A4. Way better than stock, very little dust to clean off, and you can just get them off Amazon for less than OEM.

My wife's Cabriolet has Akebono pads, front and rear. Pedal is firm, stops fine.

I run Akebono pads and they barely create any dust compared to oem pads. There is less of an initial bite when braking though

Pros: less dust

Zimmermann is quality. If you want OEM brake feel go with Textar or Pagid pads. I have Akebono pads on the Z3 and don’t like them

Pros: Zimmermann quality
