Brake discs Zimmermann or OEM Volkswagen

I personally have the Zimmerman Rotors, and Akebono pads. Great, cheap setup.

Zimmerman-Akebono combination is blizz

I use Zimmermans too & EBC red stuff pads much less dust then standard & nicer bite

I use Zimmerman rotors and OEM pads from fcpeuro. I like the bite the oem pads have compared to ceramic. More brake dust yes, but I want a car to stop as fast as possible.

I've run Zimmerman rotors with EBC red stuff ceramic pads. No complaints.

Had some rotor problem but it went away after i installed some spacers.

I was fairly unimpressed that the brand new rotors out of the box have some surface rust. I suspect these have been on a shelf for a long time.

Am I right to be upset that I was told the rotors are warped because I went through a puddle with hot brakes? Costing me $1300 to fix!
