I run Brembo 355×32mm TY3 rotors and they have exactly zero issues with very high braking loads.

Pros: zero issues, high loads

Zimmermann Brake discs

Zimmerman coated rotors + OEM pads

Notably less rust on rotor edges and maintains the great initial bite of the OEM.

Pros: less rust, good bite
Cons: terrible brake dust

Brembo Brake discs

i replaced my fronts recently myself with genuine OE Brembo rotors and pads, and i was very pleased to have saved myself about 75% of the cost of having this done at the dealership

Pros: Cost effective, good quality

Brembo Brake discs

If you get brembos then one side will look backwards. It's just brembos cutting costs by only producing one version. Actual impact on performance? Likely nil . Not enough to matter if you're buying cheaper aftermarket discs anyway.

Pros: Likely nil impact
Cons: one side looks backwards
Vehicle: Porsche Cayman

Zimmermann Brake discs

I keep hearing my brakes squeal when I drive and it's really bothering, so I'm trying to figure out what could be causing it or if it's something I have to deal with. I bought a Zimmermann kit with Textar semi metallic pads. My buddy thinks I should've removed the Coat Z anticorrosive off the rotors before installing but it says on their website it's made to be installed with it on. The only thing I can think of is maybe I didn't lube the moving surfaces enough or I need to do a better job bedding them in.

Cons: brakes squeal
