Brake discs Brembo or R1 Concepts

I just did mine brakes & rotors on my 2019 1.5 and all parts from R1 Concepts, drilled & slotted. Feel so smooth!

I run Brembo 355×32mm TY3 rotors and they have exactly zero issues with very high braking loads.

I’ve used R1 rotors for over 15 years on everything from a Dodge minivan to all three of my BMW’s. I have not ever had one issue and will continue to buy them for years to come.

I’ve been buying rotors for over 15 years from R1 Concepts and highly recommend them. Good quality and good price.

I got the the black R1 Concepts slotted and drilled ones for mine, thinking the same thing about the cosmetics. But the black wore off after a few stops. Still good breaks tho.

brembo rotors, oem pads, best setup ive tried, and ive tried a dozen.

i replaced my fronts recently myself with genuine OE Brembo rotors and pads, and i was very pleased to have saved myself about 75% of the cost of having this done at the dealership

If you get brembos then one side will look backwards. It's just brembos cutting costs by only producing one version. Actual impact on performance? Likely nil . Not enough to matter if you're buying cheaper aftermarket discs anyway.

Hab am Passat B8 vorne Brembo Scheiben und die sind unfassbar schlecht. Deutlicher ungenutzter Rand an der Bremsscheibe und massiver Rostansatz. Da waren/sind selbst die Bosch Scheiben besser.

The R1 concepts will be rusting in 3 months or less.
