Brake discs Brembo or POWER STOP
I used these exact pads and rotors on wife's Honda CRV and also my F150. They are excellent and work very well on both. The rotors still look like new after close to 2 years due to the nice silver coating-NO RUST. High quality at a good price.
I just replaced all 4 rotors and the pads with the Powerstop coated rotor kit for my 2015 Limited. Got it at Amazon. Perfect OEM fit and no problems whatsoever after a few hundred miles.
I see a lot of negative comments on here about PowerStop drilled & slotted rotors...But, I installed some drilled & slotted rotors on my 2002 Mustang GT...and what they did so for me was COMPLETELY eliminate any brake pedal/steering wheel pulsation/shudder caused by "warped" rotors...THAT alone made switching to drilled & slotted rotors worth it, to me.
Brakes done, rotors and pads, Brembo
I went with brembo quiet cast rotors from rock auto and EBC red stuff from a different website- although I did my crv’s rotor and pads ordered from rock auto and no issues
Brakes - looks like just need discs/pads all round ~£200 for brembo
Powerstops, they upgraded my braking performance at least by 3x, and they look really good too, I got the kit for my car with the drilled/slotted rotors, powder coated red calipers and ceramic heat resistant pads, they were a HUGE upgrade for sure.
Currently waiting for the front rotors to arrive for my mk6 golf. I’m doing brembo 18z calipers with. Audi 19x8 et49 5 double spikes from a S3.
I’m bummed a year into my new Brembo rotors and they are rusting at the hub. It looked like they had silver paint on them. Damn it.
I hate the OEM Brembos. There were several micro-fractures on the holes when I swapped out the rotors.
