Brake caliper WILWOOD or OEM Audi

WILWOOD Brake caliper

I run these calipers and track my s13. They are great. I heard from other racing guys that the 4 pots make the pads wear in diagonal; they switched to the 6 pots ans it solved the issue. They run slick tyres, i only use UHP. I use DTC60 from hawk. I have custom made brackets and hats, with 315 x 32mm rotors.

Pros: great performance, solved wear issue
Cons: pads wear diagonally (4-pot)

WILWOOD Brake caliper

I put willwoods on my track/autox supercharged NB. They are great, the extra grab, and need to use less pressure is great. I highly suggest the upgrade.

Pros: great grab, less pressure

I was initially looking at these but I wasn't able to find many options for brake pads. A little bit of digging and I found that isweep makes their full range of pads. But the TTS calipers seem to be the best bang for the buck.

Pros: best bang for buck
Cons: few brake pad options

OEM Audi Brake caliper

There is a huge difference in unsprung weight going to the TTS caliper - might want to highlight that as a selling point as well as noting that this set up is not only OEM+ but around half the price of say Neuspeed, Alcon, AP Racing, APR etc upgrades.

Pros: huge difference in weight, half the price

I just put the audi 2 piston calipers and SS lines on the front of my 2.0. Also put ATE super blue in. Haven't done ther rear conversion or lines yet. What I have noticed is that the pedal goes further before it starts to clamp, but when it does..... its almost like driving a hummer, if any of you have you know what i mean. Any ideas on the reason for that change?

Pros: abrupt clamp
Cons: pedal goes further
