I'm running the audi calipers and G60 11" rotors and drums in the rear. love the brakes on my car
I used some dual piston calipers from the Audi, and the fit under my 15's with like a quarter inch clearance. These are more braking power than is needed. The pads are much larger than the stock pads, and if you really step into the pedal they will lock the tires up at any speed!
i have vr6 with g60 rotors mk3 calipers, that i had to grind to fit inside my ra's, and it works GREAT.
I'm not going to get in to what bolts on directly since I love the g60 set up on a mk2. But i will say that anytime you upgrade one part of your brake system some other part will suffer.
They are a direct fit IF you got the caliper carriers too. You will only have to trim the dust shield a little bit that's all.
These calipers came off an audi 5000 turbo and each caliper has 2 pistons (dual piston) this means you will get a great amount of breaking force with each pump. These are a GREAT UPGRADE for your track car or daily car without having to spend so much money to get aftermarket brakes.
Alright guys Ive got the 11" front brakes with the girling 60's calipers and you will need the whoke brake assembly froma corrado(to make everything easy) and if you have Sebrings or RA's it wont fit over the caliper.
In my car...Not really. Its so light and the G54s provided plenty of stopping with decent pads. I expected more but Meh? Ive been runnin em for nearly 4 years now?
I just put the audi 2 piston calipers and SS lines on the front of my 2.0. Also put ATE super blue in. Haven't done ther rear conversion or lines yet. What I have noticed is that the pedal goes further before it starts to clamp, but when it does..... its almost like driving a hummer, if any of you have you know what i mean. Any ideas on the reason for that change?
are these the girly-girling calipers? the ones with a brake pad the size of a saltine cracker? also known as cracker-pads? if so, throw them in the garbage and set the garbage can on fire.
