Battery OEM Mazda or YUASA

YUASA Battery

I only buy Yuasa batteries . The one's that come with the acid pack. I had one on my Honda Valkyrie that lasted 10 years. It never failed but at 10 years I thought it best to replace it.

Pros: lasted 10 years, never failed
Cons: replaced after 10 years
Vehicle: Honda

After multiple electrical tests, and multiple batteries fitted, the Yuasa 7055 did the trick. EV mode engaged immediately after I fitted it.

Pros: EV mode engaged immediately
Part number: 7055

OEM Mazda Battery

The only time I had issues with my battery was the original one when it was on its death bed. But I remember needing to clean the posts a few times and it would start right up. Never was left with a check engine light but when it acted up it would do weird things here and there.

Cons: issues when dying, acted up, did weird things
Vehicle: Mazda

Mazdas OEM batteries are horrible. Had the one that came with the car be weak so Mazda replaced it under warranty. Not even 5 months later that new battery dies, tried jumping and it was completely dead and a jump could not start it.

Cons: horrible quality, weak, dies quickly, completely dead
Vehicle: Mazda
