I've been running Prestone for a year and half, no problems with the cooling system and the engine temps are the same.

Pros: no problems, same temps

Same here, and I almost have 200,000 miles on her. According to Prestone, their green stuff will not damage the engine and or gaskets.

Pros: will not damage engine
Mileage: 321869 km

Prestone Antifreeze

I'm using 50/50 orange coolant (I forget if it's Prestone or Zerex, silver bottle with an orange top) same as I've always used.

Pros: same coolant always used

Dude just get a NON PHOSPHATE, NON SILICATE COOLANT, it does not matter who makes it or color. BTW Prestone extended life is great and what I run and u can find it for about 8 dollars a gallon, all u need. just flush it really good.

Pros: great, about 8 dollars

I'm just pointing out that not all pink stuff is the same. Contrary to what people think, aftermarket fluids are not always better. They may be as good, but they're not better. The VW stuff is about twice as much as the Prestone ($15 vs. $7), but sinch you change it so seldom, I think it's worth it to be sure I'm getting the right stuff.

Pros: worth the price
Cons: more expensive
Vehicle: Audi
