For proper DH right now the most loved combo is Maxxis Assegai front / Minion DHR II rear, both in DH casing + MaxxGrip.

DHR II in the back, Assegai in the front is pretty good.
People said these tires handle like garbage. I was skeptical—and yeah, they’re a bit squishy at first—but honestly, unless you’re trying to turn your grocery run into a Formula 1 race, they’re actually decent. The family has stopped complaining, which is a miracle; these tires actually soften the blow of our awful roads. Range is about the same, but the noise? Night and day. Old Contis were basically a marching band on wheels; now it’s quiet enough to enjoy the ride without wanting earplugs.
I'm using Achilles Desert Hawk HT2 (on SUV with 32PSI).. tire whistle can only heard after 120KPH. tahimik po sya based on my experience...
I'm using Michelin Primacy SUV+. Tahimik naman yung tires, compared to my previous Yokohama Geolandars. May mga road surface nga lang talaga na di kaya patahimikin but these tires are definitely in the quiet side.
I installed cross climate 3 sport on my MYLR 2023 2 months ago. Did an euro trip on them (7000km or about 5000 miles). No problem whatsoever, and I did encounter a few snowstorms in the Alps. They're really quiet and perform awesomely in both dry and snow.
Angel gt(not st), dunlop roadsmarts, both well above pr6's in my experiences. The mich is not a bad tire, they just dry rot so fast(as do all mich tires)
I'm a mechanic, but still personally only stick to Michelin/Continental/Nokian religiously on my cars. Our parts dept fleet at my shop are all fitted with Coopers in the summer and Nexens in the winter. I hate them. Noisy, garbage in the weather, garbage in the dry.
Had Faulken tires and the traction was amazing, wore them down to 2/32 and still felt good but mechanic said I need new tires. I bought the Cooper Adventurer All Season Tires...Since getting this done, I consistently lose traction and feel like I’m sliding.
