I bought Goodyear Eagle Exhilerates on sale and they are great. Quiet, great traction and smooth.

I got the Michelin CC2s, I can testify they are amazing tires and perform VERY well in winter driving.
I got hancook kynergy tires for my second set and they've lasted me for 80k so far. The stock tires were kinda trash but these have been great year round
I have a set of winter wheels/tires. I can swap them myself in 20 minutes for free.

Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 SUV 225/55R18XL 102R BSW ($183.80/each)
If you want something that lasts longer than Blizzaks but still handles snow incredibly well, the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 is the other top pick. Both completely change your confidence on hills and side streets.
Michelin cross climate 2 are amazing and amongst the best year round all weather tire. Great in Midwest snow and cold temps along. It’s a great tire and a top seller for a reason.
For a CB7 that you want to daily and take on touge-style runs, I d honestly move away from the Kenda UHPs and into something that gives you real grip without the noise and cupping issues. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S is still the benchmark in the ~300tw category way quieter, noticeably better mid-corner stability, and it doesn’t get greasy after a few hard pulls the way cheaper 300tw tires do. You also get much better wet braking, which matters on an older chassis.
My Hankook only lasted 15,000km. Noise was a bit high compared to my DWS06+, but they had really good grip.
Anyways, I mounted the tires in my wheels and right away on the tire balancer two they wobbled bad. I balanced them but they’re shit tires. The vibrate, have a very “hollow” pop type noise when hitting bumps, and overall a bit squirrelly on the road.
I’ve had both the firestones and pilot sports on my corvette. The wet weather grip on the PS is much better. I would fishtail pretty regularly with the firestones. Would not recommend if you plan to drive in the rain.
