I had a set on a 2006 Mini Cooper sjcw 215 40 17s now the ride was harsh and stiff but let me tell you you hit a turn you'll come out of it with the biggest shit eating grin on your face you ever could think of. For the price I'd call it a best bang for your buck tire so since you got them drive them you'll see they're pretty good.

Michelin never lets me down. I have had several sets of Conti DWS's on various cars and they always wear out way earlier than they should (treadwear gone in 15K miles on a 30K mile tire). I have had a few sets of Nokians too. Good tires until they aren't. Two sets had sidewall bubbles early. Others developed vibration issues before tread was gone. No real recent experience w/ Bridgestone except one set on a 911 years ago. Get the Michelins.
Typically I don't like Goodyear tires but my Duratracs have been a great AT tire. Zero complaints.
I had Conti Vikingcontacts and those were great. Also, they are hard to find, but Conti owns a company called Gislaved tires who make outstanding winter compounds. They are from Sweden and engineered specifically for Scandinavian, Canadian, and Russian winters.
MTR is my favorite off road tire but wear out really fast daily driving.
My DuraTracs seem a bit noisy compared to other tires, but I absolutely love them. Have a set on my Frontier and a set on Xterra. I literally have 0 complaints.
My buddy has P Zero Winter on his S4
and he likes them. I have Yokohama BluEarth Winter V905 and they are nice but the sidewall is not as stiff as the Pirellis. Still happy with them though.
Swapped from the continentals on my WRX last year and haven't looked back.
Something XC like Maxxis ardent race or rekon race
The tires are Minerva Iceplus S210, I do not recommend them. They are definitely better in the snow than a high performance summer tires but they are far from great.
