NITTO Tires

Great tire but doesn't clear mud like a true mud terrain. So it depends on what you are getting into. I have used them in all conditions, and would avoid them only in very muddy conditions, esp clay-mud common in SE US

Pros: great tire, used in all conditions
Cons: doesn't clear mud well
Vehicle: Toyota

I have a friend who runs the Dunlop Mutants and he absolutely loves them. They're much better in the rain over the stock tires and he said they have more road feel as well.

Pros: better in the rain, more road feel

Nokia Tires

Nokian Hakkapeliitta's with studs, you could climb a tree with them! By far, the best special winter only tires period, full stop!

Pros: best winter tires

Bought these tires for my Mazda 3 after one of my OEM Bridgestone EL440’s got pregnant(sidewall bulge), and I plugged a puncture in the other one. Decided to just replace the tires completely.

So far I’m happy with them.

Pros:

- Severe snow rating so they are legally snow tires in my state(for mountain passes and stuff), and I’m guessing the snow traction is way better. They are still all season tires though.

- Seems to be a softer ride overall even on the stock 18” side.

- XL sidewall strength, vs the stock tires being standard. Should help with those sidewall issues.

- They seem fairly quiet as far as noise.

- $150 rebate in addition to being fairly cheap

Cons:

- These are definitely not for those people who want sporty handling, they don’t really feel like a sport tire, and are more of a touring road tire.

- I’ve heard the treadwear isn’t the best(makes sense with the snow rating)

Pros: softer ride, fairly quiet
Cons: not for sporty handling
Vehicle: Mazda 3

Minerva Tires

They're chinese tires, they usually wear out fast but will probably work fine for a season, maybe two if you're lucky.

Pros: work fine for season
Cons: wear out fast

MICHELIN Tires

The sidewall split on one of the Michelin Primacy MXM4 on our 2021 Model 3 at about 12000km (only 7450 miles) so those Michelin Primacy MXM4s are not that great it seems.

Cons: sidewall split
Mileage: 12000 km
