Konis are amazing, I won't ever run anything else.

I have bilstein B6 straight from IPD. I enjoy them!
I chose the sport suspension version of the B4s. The B4s give a very controlled ride without the stiffness of a B6 or B8, even with the lowered sport suspension versions and the Pro-kits.
At 116k miles, the stock shocks and struts were plenty worn out. I wanted a little more damping than stock, but without sacrificing too much of the OEM ride quality. I found the Bilstein B6 shocks and struts to fit that bill.
The ride quality is superb! It has the right amount of damping in corners for the vehicle type and did not sacrifice ride quality. Highly recommend!
I am running MK3 springs and Bilstien HDs on my 85 Jetta. No rub issues with 185/70R14s.
I put the OEM bilsteins in my e36 sedan and they felt amazing, I didnt realise how shot the original shocks were.
I've been happy with my bilstein B4s i got from rockauto. the highlander of same generation shocks also fit in the rear. the ride is still smooth.
Fox 2.5" internal bypass shock and springs off a 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro.
Adds about 1" in height. Rides a bit firmer that stock shocks on paved roads and performs great off-road.
Note 5100s are not soak up the bumps kind of shocks. Depending on what you think is atrocious about your current ride, it might not be an improvement. My 08 V8 feels stiffer/sharper on bumps compared to OEM shocks, though it handles them with better composure, less resonance/vibration on hard hits, and handles washboard and bumps better. Also less body roll.
Bought these Dobinson shocks and coils in October, photos are in May with service records indicating only 2,000 km of driving! Within 5 months these are looking like they wont last 2 years.
