Personally I went Dobinson MRAs which have handled outback travel and tough tracks. Some prefer them revalved but mine is heavy enough to work well with them. Unlike their springs it seems to be a decent product.
Owner reviews for shock absorbers
I ripped them out the same week and went for Dobinsons MRR. Honestly? Night and day. The ride is smoother on-road, planted in corners, and off-road they just eat up washboards and corrugations. I’ve hammered them through tracks that would’ve rattled the Bilsteins to death, and they haven’t skipped a beat.
I have 5100s on my Tacoma and they made a great replacement to my OEM shocks. Kept it at factory height. Less nose dive when braking makes all the difference to me.
Peças originais Mando de importador + amortecedores Monroe de fornecedor local: R$1700 total
I went with Rancho RS7MT, I love the ride with my Clayton 3.5 lift.
Eu tenho um Audi A4 B8 SLine, comprei dois amortecedores na Audi originais SACHS foram €180 os dois!!!
I work for Ford so I was able to snag some new OEM's out of another dealer's aging inventory for cheap. They made a huge improvement.
I just put new bilsteins on at 100k. So far so good.
When I changed to Bilsteins, I reused the old shock mounts. Ideally I would've changed them too...
Those shocks are shit for use with coilovers.
