Anyway I always ran Mobil 1 5W-20 full synthetic with their filters and change every 5k, but have since just switched the Costcos brand of oil. Can get it for a pretty good price when it goes on sale so I just stock up. Reviews have said it’s a good quality oil so that’s just what I use.

an oil filter for a Fortuner, Innova, Hilux, Montero, Strada, MU-X, DMax, etc will set you back just 350 pesos in most auto supplies (and no. These arent cheap substandard parts, these are decent brands like V.I.C.).
Amsoil and Subaru filters. Other vehicles with horrible oil filter locations I use K&N because I can use a socket to pop them off.
I'm trying out that Rotella T6 5W-40 some of y'all talk about. Just snagged it off Amazon.
I also use K&N filters cause they've got a 1" nut welded on top.
Pennzoil Ultra Platinum and Fram Ultra Synthetic (XG10060). OEM Mopar air filters for cabin and engine. I also add 15oz bottle BioTech Lubegard in oil. Just did mine, love the results. 2021 Rebel, 60k miles, 5.7L non-e torque if it matters.
Do the oil change and use a high-quality filter such as mobil 1 . Then change every 1000 miles.
I use Mobil 1 High Mileage Synthetic along with the Mobil 1 filter.
Never felt any substantial difference from the changing of the oil itself but did notice that using a regular Fram filter made for a shaky idle in the '89 Integra I had. Changing the filter back to an STP made the wonky idle go away.
As good as their airfilters are... their oil filters are as shite. They leak and are downright dangerous.
Definitely use a black OEM filter, you need the correct bypass pressure and the blues are made by fram which is legit made of trash
