Personally I use Fram's Ultra as it's shown to filter great and allow flow great for the price point from tests performed.

Pros: filter great, allow flow great

I had the same code popping up onky after redlining. I had 2 months prior, replaced the oil filter housing on my atlas 21' 2.0t and vw passat 15' 1.8t with the metal one... off brand from amazon but works well on the atlas, so no issues, EPC would be nonstop until i turned off the car and back on. Switched the housing back to stock with a new filter and BOOM. Problem literally solved.

Pros: problem literally solved
Cons: EPC would be nonstop
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I’m running an adapter and using the Donaldson DBL7483. It’s a really good filter per the micron rating. Adds about a quart of capacity as well

Pros: really good filter, adds capacity
Part number: DBL7483

OEM Toyota Oil filter

I don't believe in trans flushes, nor do the experienced techs I talk to. They just push debris into places it's not supposed to be. Just do a drain and refill (with a new filter, if there's a replaceable filter). I've been doing a drain and refill every 30k on my Tacoma since I bought it with 76k miles - just rolled over 150k. Had my guy drop the pan and clean the screen and magnets on the last one and he said everything looked fantastic inside, no major debris, magnets were fairly clean.

Pros: magnets were fairly clean
Cons: push debris into places
Vehicle: Toyota
Mileage: 150000 km
