I went from sub 0.030" spark gaps to the stock above 0.040" spark gaps without getting spark blowout for 4 years now.
Owner reviews for ignition coil
I just replaced the plugs and coil packs on my 2016 granted it’s the 2.4l engine but I purchased the Delphi coil packs and they seem to work great and solved my misfire issue (80k miles on the odometer).
Just OEM's replaced on time, car runs like a champ and sees track days regularly
I replaced the OEM coil with an MSD ignition coil earlier this year after having similar misfiring issues. Haven’t had any issues since.
I recently replaced using NGK. Solved my random miss holding at 5k. I'm pleased with them. Not lacking anything. It added some pep to my step, for sure.
I’ve never had an issue with my Bremi coils. Just replaced the suppression tubes. M50/M52 coils very rarely fail. Just the tubes.
I ran this on my AP1 and it worked greats
I replaced the ignition coils and spark plugs given their age / mileage and online recommendations around the weak Mazda coils. Honestly, I didn’t notice too many changes but again, piece of mind.
But, its Bosch ignition coils had a defect and were being recalled.
Don't bother with the R8 coils that everyone says is an upgrade. It isn't. They are just red.
