I got my Bosch replacement on Amazon a couple years ago. I also got the tank straps and j bolts there too. No problems since replacing it.
Owner reviews for fuel pump
i just put a delphi one in and it seems to be doing great
I have Delphi that I installed over a year ago and no issues.
I put a Delphi in my sister's Grand Am 3 years ago and there's been no problems.
Guess what, Ferrari doesn’t make fuel pumps chances are it’s a Bosch(or whoever) part that’s on a million other things.
If you replace the fuel pump, a Delphi in line fuel pump for an 89 Ford F250 is effectively the same...just be sure to not mix up the pos/neg terminals.
I just done the works for my engine. I prefer make 1.8 to 2.0 and same time use some good racing parts 1,u need s3/7r crank shaft, bearing is 48mm,then u don’t need change block,2,144mm Rods I use forged from maxracing,.3 oem 2.0 pistons but I use forged piston, depending how high boost u want later 4,oem 2.0 injectors 5,hitachi hi press fuel pump.thats the all parts can make ur engine just strong like s3 or even better
I installed new fuel pumps this past Wed (quattro has 2), and the car fired up after a little cranking (I assume repriming the lines). Car worked fine yesterday, but on the way to work this morning it died and I got a tow.
Do not use Vemo pumps.
Thing lasted 3 months, and really only lasted that long because I spent virtually every weekend at pick-a-part getting parts to keep it on the road. Some of it was my fault (I slightly crashed it into a guard rail), but the rest was fuel pumps, bad injectors, stupid little things like the speedometer and rear antenna, and the AC which never worked.
