The Delphi in my wife's tahoe is still kicking ass 5 years later.
Owner reviews for fuel pump
Delphi is the only way to go unless you don't mind replacing it again every year with cheap parts. A fuel pump isn't something you want to cheap out on I'd say for safety reasons.
I finally found a new Made in Germany Bosch fuel pump and no more issues.
About 1-2 years ago I put a brand new Delphi pump in my 5.3 Silverado. Been great since. Don't let that tank get below ¼ and it'll last a LONG LONG time.
A spectra premium replacement was installed in my truck around 270,000kms. It still works fine at 440,000kms. I check fuel pressure occasionally. While OEM would be my first choice, I have had good luck with the spectra.
I'm on my 5th year on Airtex in my gmt800 and gmt 400.
I've never had issues with genuine walbro pumps, took me well over 500hp reliably on several vehicles.

I've only had one warranty issue, a fuel pump was acting up. Didn't strand me or anything but was causing a rough idle due to cuting out one time. Restarted the car and it was fine, took it to the dealer anyway and they replaced all the fuel pumps under warranty.
The Bosch fuel pump I got was dead on arrival. Didn't work at all. Then went with Motorcraft and haven't had any issues.
My Jetta was great until it hit the 135,000 mark. And then my high pressure fuel pump exploded sending shrapnel throughout the entire engine.
