Amsoil is top tier oil and you can't go wrong with it.

I’m using Amsoil 0w-30 and am very pleased with it. Getting about 1 mpg better gas mileage and had the Amsoil lab analyzed after 3500 miles and numbers are better than what the factory oil showed. All added up, the Amsoil was better at protecting the engine.

i'm using the liqui moly 5w40 oil in my R, as well as previous owner has also used this oil. I absolulely love it. i also used to use in my 11 GTI previously as before using this oil i used to use the mobil 1 0w40 in the gti, but since i've switched to the liqui moly the engine used to run so much smoother.

I have been using the oil recommended by the owners manual (the Dutch one at least) for a couple of years now, no issues at all. I use Total Quartz 9000 5W-40.

I too have a 2018 se and I use the liquimoly top tec 0w20.

I've been using the Liquimoly Top Tec 6200 0W20 with the VW508 spec.

Would recommend the motul 300v,been using it for a while now and it’s perfect

I use Pennzoil in my cars because it won project farm's oil showdown.

We had 50700 VW spec oil in for 4,000 miles on the oil and 4,700 miles on the engine. The iron wear rate was about 15 ppm/1000 miles. The Longlife III oil did have impressive viscosity holding charictaristics. I did not care for the way the oil film of the 50700 wetted surfaces, it fisheyed on plastics.
