Subaru OEM batteries can be pretty shit in cold weather. Even the service department at my dealership admits this. I eventually fed up with my Subaru batteries chugging in cold weather and replaced them with Interstate AGM batteries (with more CCA). I haven’t had any troubles since.

Subaru are known for using cheap batteries, winter just makes it even worse. within the first 2 weeks of buying a 2022 Outback, i junked the battery and put in a great aftermarket one.
Wife’s Ascent had a factory battery that last maybe 2 winters. Replaced it was a yellow top and haven’t had any problems since. Subaru even gave us credit for it so that was nice
My forester’s OEMs lasted 7 years as well.
my 2015 had the same exact AC issues. It would come and go cold air wise. I'd be on the highway and it would be blowing warm air. Another day it would be fine, etc. There ended up being a TSB out about the problem and Subaru replaced my AC compressor (back in 2015 or 2016) for free.
I had my Outback windshield crack and my Forrester windshield crack..
Just replaced my glass after about 29k miles. Subaru glass is either cheap or placed at a bad angle.
My forester XT was WAY worse though because eyesight needs thinner or softer glass
About to be on my third windshield in 3500 miles. First one was a pebble on the highway at 65mph, second was because some asshole drifted into the bike lane and kicked up a pebble around 45 mph. I owned a Legacy GT for 5+ years, doing the same commute as now, and only had to replace the windshield once. Outback owners filed a class action lawsuit against Subaru for their cheap glass.
The OEM rad in my ‘13 developed a crack when the car was like 4 years old.
