I googled today to see if the STP Euro synthetic oil was 502 00 and the answer came back as - should be but to actually be able to put 502 00 on the bottle companies have to pay for it to be certified and STP probably just doesn\u2019t want to pay.

i own a 2008 chevy colorado(2.9 4cil) and i used to buy all kind of expensive oils for it, nowadays i just use STP full synthetic 5w40 and change it twice a year
STP 10w30 synthetic
STP SYN Full Synthetic. No issues.
STP is their house brand. This is ACEA A3/B4 rated, which is what you want. You're not going to get anything VW 502 or 508 rated, since they're not going to pay for that accreditation. It's good enough.
I’ve used Castro Euro 5w-40 in my ‘15 MK6… got too expensive and switched to STP 5w-40 Euro. Working just fine so far
