This summer, I swapped out my Pirelli's at around 21k on a 2021 EX. I was starting to hydroplane with minimal water on the road. Although costly, I'm glad I did. The new ones make the ride so much better.
I dumped the stock Pirelli’s as they were basically falling apart. Huge chunks torn out of the curb bump the tires had. Switched to Continental and traction/handling is so much better (‘23 GT1)
I have a 22 and the pirellis were awesome at first but definitely did not last. There’s a reason they have no manufacturer warranty. They are performance tires. Rubber is soft and wears faster.
They are ass, also already replaced 2 of them because they got bubbles on the side.
Had to replace them on my 22 K5 as well because they had already gone bald in places by the time of my first inspection
As mentioned the old tires were shot with 2016 date stamps and cracks all over. Replaced with a set of Pirelli P4 Persist AS Plus tires aka the cheapest legit all-season tire ($99/ea). Car drives much better now and will be much safer once the rains return.
I got the P Zero AS+ and they've been nothing but amazing so far. I'm in Canada as well.
PIRELLI TIRES ARE THE WORST TIRES I EVER PURCHASED. I GIT 10,OOO MILES ON Them ALMOST BALD!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT LUKE I DO
Stay away. I had to replace their P-Zero tires at 9700 miles. Complete garbage.
I’m going against the grain here and saying they’re great tires. I had a set of p4 all seasons on my wife’s car and they’ve lasted 40,000 miles and all sorts of weather extremes.
I wouldn't buy them. I bought a set of pirelli's, they were out of round, next set I got, 2 had a shifted belt. Got those replaced, now I have 4 scorpions that cause small vibrations. Had them balanced 3 times, just won't go away.
