My 2015 GSW had to have A/C compressor replaced at about 5000 miles.
Vehicle:

Mileage: 8046 km
Bad A/C compressor and blown 12v outlet fuse from factory. Got both replaced, no problems.
Pros: replaced, no problems

I've owned my late 2007 build since new and it now has 80,000 on the clock (2.0T FSI). Only major problem was that the A/C compressor went at about 40k, but was replaced for free under warranty.
Pros: great car, thoroughly enjoyed

i have been running a VR6 compressor on my ABA for 4 years now and no problems with it spinning the "wrong" way its just like an alternator can spin in any direction because of its construction
